presentation on her work at St. Michael’s Hospital and the new Interdisciplinary clinic for chiropractic interns. She

explained that by doing an internship at St. Michael’s Hospital, students will never have to worry about completing

requirements to graduate because the clinic is fully booked, one month in advance.Students will have the ability to

communicate one-on-one with other health care professionals in the clinic to fully address every patient concern.

We would like to thank Dr. Jessica Wong and Marco De Ciantis for sharing their experiences at St. Michael’s Hospital.

Dr. Wong discussed the Clinical Science Residency Program that she is taking and how it ties in with working at St.

Michael’s. She has a leadership role in running the clinic and oversees 4th year interns. Marco explained that a typical

day in clinic runs from 7am-3:30pm, but realistically because of paper work, interns will have to dedicate an additional

couple hours each shift to complete all tasks. He also said that what he is learning from the clinic will set him apart

from his classmates when he graduates because St. Michael’s offers interns practice at running the front desk as well

as treating a larger, more complex population.
